Ryan and I recently took our second trip and traveled all the way down from Northern Michigan to Hot Springs Arkansas, where we spent several days mining quartz crystal from multiple mines around Hot Springs!

All of our listed Quartz Crystals were personally mined by either Ryan or Michelle, OR we have personally purchased them directly from one of the local Arkansas mines!

Quartz, or silica (SiO2), is a hard, brittle, durable mineral that exhibits considerable
resistance to weathering. It occurs in nature in many varieties, but is best known from Arkansas as prismatic, elongate, transparent, vitreous crystals. Arkansas is known worldwide for the production of quartz crystals by both collectors and scientists.(Source - geology.arkansas.gov)
